When you failed to access your camera remotely with DDNS+ port after configuring the remote access settings, please check below cause and cure.
Problem 1: The remote access settings to the camera were not configured properly.
Solutions
Before the camera can be access via the DDNS and port it must be configured properly.
Navigate back to the camera’s screen to verify all the DDNS settings.
See here for how to setup remote access
Problem 2: The remote access settings for DDNS are confirmed as being entered correctly but the Port is closed.
Solutions
Navigate the web page below from the same network that the camera is installed on. Leave the IP setting the way it is; enter the Port number and click Check.
http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
If the remote access settings are correct the results of the test should indicate that the port is open.
If the test results indicate that the port is closed perform the following steps.
1)Double check the port forwarding settings are correct on the router.
2)Check to see if there is more than one router on the entire network.
(If there is more than one router port forwarding will need to be done on the other router.)
3)Change the HTTP port and then perform port forwarding on the router. This is done in the event the other port is being used by a service.
4)Some ISP services may block some ports. If the above steps fail contact the ISP directly and request that the port be opened.
Problem 3: The DDNS is not synchronized with the camera’s external IP.
Solutions
In this state, the camera is already accessible when using an external IP and port.
Example http://27.38.56.15:88
However, if the DDNS status was not successful (not synchronized with the external IP) this would make it impossible to connect to the camera remotely using the DDNS and port.
Check the following FAQ document to resolve this:
Solve issue that DDNS is failed-HD camera?
Other reasons for the cause of the fault.
1)Some routers do not allow loop back.
If the camera is accessed from a computer which happens to be on the exact same router which is configured for DDNS and Port the connection may be blocked by that router. The work around on this is to access the LAN IP and Port which should be found on the Equipment Search Tool. Attempt to use DDNS and port while present on an outside network. Or connect the computer to a hotspot via a cellular phone and use a cellular network to attempt the test connection.
2)The camera may not be connected to the internet.
To test this login to the same router as the camera with a computer and attempt to access external sites such as www.google.com and perform a search function to test the internet connection.
3)The router’s firewall prevents the DDNS from being synchronized with an external IP.
To check this login to the router and disable the firewall. Reboot the camera and check to see if it is accessible via DDNS and Port. Check the instructions for the router for assistance with this.
