How to add the cameras to Foscam Viewer on Android devices manually?

There are 3 methods to add the cameras to Foscam Viewer on Android devices manually.

1. IP address

2. DDNS

3. UID

Method1: Add the camera to Foscam viewer manually by IP address.

A. On the “IPC” interface, please click on the 3rd button.

B. Input the settings on each input box, then click on “OK”

Dev Type	If it is MJ camera, please choose “Standard Definition”. If it is HD camera, please choose “High Definition”
Dev Name	Input the camera name
IP Address	Choose “IP Address”, then input the IP of the camera. Not input the port
Stream	Choose “Sub stream”
Http Port	Input the Http port of your camera. If it is HD camera, default is 88. If it is MJ camera, default is 80.
Media Port	It is the same as the Http port. Note: If it is FI9821W (V1), FI9818W (V1), FI9801W, FI9802W, it is 888 default.
Username	Input the camera’s username, default is admin
Password	Input the camera’s password, no password default.

For example:

C. Click on the camera. You will go to the “Video” tab and see the live video.

Please note: If the IP address is input with LAN IP (assigned by the router) of the camera, you can only access the camera when your mobile phone connects to the same router as the camera.

Method 2: Add the camera to Foscam viewer manually with DDNS.

After you add the camera with the DDNS, you can access your camera remotely via the Internet.

Please confirm that you did the port forwarding for your camera and port on your router successfully and you can access the camera with DDNS+Port.

A. On the “IPC” interface, please click on the 3rd button.

B. Input the settings on each input box, then click on “OK”.

Dev Type

If it is MJ camera, please choose “Standard Definition”.

If it is HD camera, please choose “High Definition”

Dev Name

Input the camera name

DDNS URL

Choose “DDNS URL”, then input the DDNS of the camera.

The format is like “ij7413.myfoscam.org”. Do NOT input the port

Stream

Choose “Sub stream”

Http Port

Input the Http port of your camera.

If it is HD camera, default is 88. If it is MJ camera, default is 80.

Media Port

It is the same as the Http port.

Note: If it is FI9821W (V1), FI9818W (V1), FI9801W, FI9802W, it is 888 default.

Username

Input the camera’s username, default is admin

Password

Input the camera’s password, no password default.

Method 3: Add the camera to Foscam viewer manually with UID.

A. On the “IPC” interface, please click on the 3rd button.

B. Input the settings on each input box, then click on “OK”

Dev Type	If it is MJ camera, please choose “Standard Definition”. If it is HD camera, please choose “High Definition”
Dev Name	Input the camera name
P2P UID	Choose “UID”, then input the UID of the camera. You can find it on the sticker.
Stream	Choose “Sub stream”
Username	Input the camera’s username, default is admin
Password	Input the camera’s password, no password default.
